This is the time of year when the holiday parades come marching down our streets. There are a few and the first one is this weekend!
November 21st at 930a.m., The Coliseum Central Parade starts at Hampton Roads Center Parkway and heading down Coliseum Drive, floats of all different shapes, sizes, places and themes will march down towards the new Peninsula Town Center. This has been a Hampton favorite for a few years now. Starting at 9a.m. there will be clowns, musical entertainment and pre-parade festivities. For more information go to this website link.
On December 12th, the Holly Days Parade will start at 7p.m. Floats will follow the parade route from Eaton Street and heading towards Darling Stadium. This parade is sure to be a huge hit with the classic cars and many floats. It’s televised and all floats can enter into a competition. Even my company, Liz Moore and Associates will have their own float riding down the streets.
